The Very Rev. Carlos Raines graduated from Trinity College, University of Toronto. He was ordained in the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon and served as Vicar of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Florence, Oregon and St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Gardiner, Oregon. Since coming to St. James Cathedral in 1998, Dean Raines is re-vitalizing the Cathedral congregation through the introduction of solid discipleship programs, healing ministry and outreach to the local community and abroad through missionary and service work. Dean Raines is married to Carol Raines and they have four grown children.
