Children’s Sunday School
Children’s Sunday School lessons and activities are available for children ages preschool to 5th grade during the church service. Children meet in the back of the church during the Gradual (song before the Gospel reading) and will walk to the classroom together. They will return during the exchanging of the peace so they can join their families during Communion. If you have questions, or are interested in helping with children’s ministry, please contact Paula Velez (559-389-8042 or kasadevelez@gmail.com).

Pastoral Prayer Partners
Anyone can pray—and anyone who prays is an essential part of the ministry of the church.
Our Pastoral Prayer Partners are intercessors who pray during our services, inviting the Presence of God and standing guard through the Spirit over our ministers.
You can be a valued part of this crucial ministry!
Please contact Cat Young at 779-8025 for more information.

VISITING MINISTRY
We would like to form a group of volunteers who would be interested in visiting our parishioners who are unable to attend church on Sundays. Please pray and consider this important ministry. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex.
Sound Ministry needs an Apprentice
We are still prayerfully looking for an apprentice in the Sound Ministry to help John Downing on Sunday mornings and special events. If you are considering this opportunity to serve, let us show you more. Speak with John or Fr. Carlos. And… God bless you!

Nominations are open for Vestrymembers . . .
The election of vestrymembers will be at the St. James’ annual meeting in January 2018. Our Vestry is made up of seven members. We need to fill three vacancies. Interested persons may nominate themselves or another church member. An eligible nominee is (a) a baptized person in good standing with St. James Anglican Church; (b) whose name is enrolled in the register of the church; (c) who is a communicant who regularly participates in worship services at the church; (d) who is a faithful financial contributor of record; who has either been confirmed or received into the Anglican Church; (e) who is at least 18 years of age; and (f) who has satisfied the foregoing requirements for at least ninety days prior to the date of an election. Prayerfully consider who would be willing to share their expertise and leadership skills with St. James. Current Vestrymembers are listed on Page 33 of this bulletin. They would welcome a call from you to answer any questions you have.

Watch for Your Pledge Card for 2018 coming by mail!
Please be on the lookout for a stewardship letter from Fr. Carlos and your pledge card for 2018. We will mail them next week and we hope to have them returned by Sunday, November 26th for a blessing and thanksgiving.
