Keeping Time With God:
The Prayer Book as a Guide to Growing in Christ
led by Jeanine Werner
We Will Focus On:
How we all need to grow into the people Christ called us to be through daily obedience;
Why a rule of life can help us grow in grace and God’s holiness better than by our own efforts alone;
What a rule looks like;
How to create a rule of life.
We will then look at:
The traditional rule provided through our prayer book;
How we can adopt/adapt much of that to our daily life.
The rest of the time will be spent learning the riches of the prayer book and how they can support our growth in daily grace:
The system offered through the Daily Office – a life of prayer
The different sections, what they mean, how they are useful.
